Using both sides of the page is not recommended because it can affect the scanning process and the final appearance of the book. You should only use one side of each page for writing and illustrating. This ensures the best scanning and printing quality for your published book. If a student draws on the wrong side, you can use whiteout tape to cover the page number. (Do not use liquid whiteout.) You can choose to hand write the page number in black ink or print off one of our page numbers to glue on with a glue stick.
